Bvlgari OCTO: The World’s Thinnest Mechanical Watch with 3.3mm Ultra-Thin Craftsmanship

In recent years, some brands have advanced their watchmaking skills by leaps and bounds, even surpassing some traditional watchmaking brands. Its OCTO collection is very recognizable. Bulgari has launched several ultra-thin watches, several of which have broken the watch world's ultra-thinness record. Ultra-thin watches have long been sought after and respected by watch craftsmen. The movement of the watch is only 3.3mm thick, which is equivalent to the thickness of two ordinary envelopes stacked together, so it can be said to be quite thin. Moreover, in addition to the chronograph function, the watch also has a GMT function. The wearer can set the local time by pressing the 9 o'clock button. Since its creation, its design has minimized the thickness of the tourbillon cage to just 1.95mm, a decisive factor in reducing the overall thickness. The combination of the cage with the baseplate of the movement determines the thickness of the entire movement. The entire movement architecture consists of two bridges: one for the pinwheel and the other for the tourbillon cage wheel system, which rotates once a minute.

In terms of details, the dial is well made, with separate sub-dials for hours, minutes and seconds, which suddenly opens up the distance from ordinary watches. It contains 21 jewels with a variable inertia balance with gold weights.
